Learned Fate of the Fellowship yesterday and really enjoyed it. Great co-op game. Probably sold a bit by the fact we barely managed to win on the first run. Still, it felt like there was always something interesting to do. Solid variation on the Pandemic style setup.

Has anyone around here played Vantage yet? (boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/42)

I am so on the fence about this game. I have not played it, but I can't quite make my mind up if I would like it or not.

On the one hand I really like exploration games a lot. On the other hand a lack of tight engaging narrative as you go was one of the reasons I kinda fell out of love with 7th continent quite fast.

It seems like a fairly unique thing though. Lime it wants to straddle the gap between Sleeping Gods and 7th Continent.

Working on the Body of Books (expansion for Scholars of the South Tigris) write up and video are fun, but it really just makes me want to play the South Tigris games more! Ive played them all at least 12 times this year and I want more!

If you liked #WayfarersOfTheSouthTigris definitely check out my write up and video on Tides of Trade to see if its for you!

I busted out #Encyclopedia for the first time since New Years Eve 2023. I lost to the easiest solo bot but not horribly and I really didnt remember the game very much. Do people just not like this game or was it just not marketed? I've had a lot of fun in both solo and 2p games.

If you haven't seen the game, here is a video I made a while ago with some more information: youtu.be/gXMfiFVaFdQ
