Bryan Fink
I’m excited to try a new volunteer activity in a few hours: answering calls during my local public radio station’s pledge drive. WXPR’s “Blues Friday” show is from 6pm to 9pm US Central (23:00 to 02:00 UTC), and anyone that calls in a pledge during that time might hear me pick up.

WXPR has been one of my favorite discoveries in the Northwoods. They’re a great source of local news. But they also host a wide mix of music programming - much of it produced in-house. It has become a primary source of new music discovery for me.

And you can enjoy the entertainment too, even if you’re not in the broadcast area. Both the live show and two weeks of archives are available to stream - for free, to everyone, without sign-up or registration - online at https://www.wxpr.org/.

Our community is eager to see WXPR not only survive in the post-CPB-funding world, but grow. If you’d like to help us, call the station this evening, or click through the pledge form online - and thanks!

#Wisconsin #PublicRadio #Music #BoostsWelcome
