Antinous the Gay God<p>🪷 <a href="https://social.anoxinon.de/tags/Solstice" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Solstice</span></a> <a href="https://social.anoxinon.de/tags/Brumalia" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Brumalia</span></a> <a href="https://social.anoxinon.de/tags/Saturnalia" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Saturnalia</span></a>: December 24th is the end of the four-week Ancient Roman <a href="https://social.anoxinon.de/tags/Brumalia" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Brumalia</span></a> winter solstice festival honouring <a href="https://social.anoxinon.de/tags/Saturn" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Saturn</span></a>/#Cronus and <a href="https://social.anoxinon.de/tags/Ceres" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Ceres</span></a>/#Demeter. The Brumalia festival included night-time feasting and merriment. During this time, oracles were taken. Brumalia festivities ended on 24 Dec, ushering in the Saturnalia and the "Waxing of the Light".
