“#Canva has more than 190 million users globally and the company in September announced significant price rises for some of those users, particularly for its business-oriented “Canva Teams” product, and said new AI features were a key reason for the changes.
It raised #subscription prices in the US from $US120 ($178) a year for up to five users to $US300 a year for the first 12 months, then $US500 a year, an increase of more than 300 per cent.
For Australian users, a flat fee of $40 a month for up to five users would shift to $13.50 for each user, meaning a team of five would pay nearly 70 per cent more.
The company cited new #AI-powered features as one reason for the change and said the new #prices reflected ‘the value of our expanded product experience’”
Tripling price for the value of the expanded ‘product experience’ NOT saving you time or effort is a quick way to find competitors.
