It's like reverse-WINE. (Of course, it does help that Windows has a (probably badly implemented and somewhat cursed) POSIX layer.)

Uninstalling crap such as <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Skype" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Skype</a> and <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/CandyCrush" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#CandyCrush</a>, reinstalling and setting up my browsers, and installing all the other software such as media players, <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/WSL" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#WSL</a>, <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/CygWin" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#CygWin</a>, <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/SSH" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#SSH</a> and <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/TextEditors" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#TextEditors</a>.I do eventually want to run <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/Linux" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Linux</a> on this, but for now I want to have something that works out of the box, and where there isn't a high chance I have to hunt down drivers to get f.e. WiFi or BlueTooth running.

FiXato (fallback)<a href="https://mastodon.social/@ihabunek" class="u-url mention" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">@ihabunek</a> good to know :)I had to manually join the chunks since I ran it from inside <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/CygWin" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#CygWin</a>, and my <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/ffmpeg" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#ffmpeg</a> Windows binary doesn't understand the *NIX paths, but that's just my quirky environment instead of installing actual Python for Windows. :) cd'ing into the temp chunk files directory and running the ffmpeg command (which helpfully was chucked in the debug output!) worked well enough. :) I guess what's left after joining is just deleting the twitch-dl tmp dir?
