Alex@rtnVFRmedia Suffolk UK<p>Got car back last Friday - one (1) mechatronic pressure accumulator/housing replaced - VW original is steel threaded into just 3mm thick alu and constantly charged to 40-60 bar, after a while the housing cracks and the system loses pressure - common fault on <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/DSG" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>DSG</span></a> <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/DQ200" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>DQ200</span></a> 'box. Some clever folk in <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/T%C3%BCrkiye" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Türkiye</span></a> make a replacement that a Desi uncle in <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/Purfleet" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>Purfleet</span></a> distributes to mechanics. </p><p>Whole job (more than my DIY skills and tools could deal with) cost near £700 but I'm back on the road..</p>

Scanned the OBD2 and found multiple gearbox/mechatronic related codes</p><p>Car is now at independent <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/VW" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>VW</span></a> specialist garage awaiting repair (originally only available for 2024-02-13 but they said might be able to do earlier, I can't drive it anyway at the moment)</p><p>As my dad would have said - <a href="https://social.tchncs.de/tags/bladibarsket" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>bladibarsket</span></a> (Malaysian English curse word)</p>
