Es fasziniert mich, dass Papst Sixtus V. damals ein so ehrgeiziges Projekt startete, um Rom mit frischem Wasser zu versorgen. Ein wahres Stück lebendige Geschichte.<br> <br> When I stood in front of the Fontana dell'Acqua Felice, I was captivated by its history and beauty. Built in 1587, it’s known as the "Moses Fountain" for a reason. I find it fascinating that Pope Sixtus V undertook such an ambitious project to supply Rome with fresh water.
