#Apple erklärt wie man eigene Klingeltöne erzeugt und formatgerecht installiert. Es ist einfach, gefühlt nur etwa 29.472 einzelne Schritte und man benötigt #GarageBand.
Here’s a cover of “How Can I Not Love You” from #AnnaAndTheKing by beautiful Wifey.
Having acquired that lovely new #guitar, of course I felt like taking it for wee spin in #Garageband & see what that feels & sounds like - and this little riff / loop came out of my fingers...
Both knobs are volume, one for each pickup, which I'm finding to be extremely versatile, especially since they already have such a rich sound I recorded that little melody thing twice with different mix of the PUs, which I think produced a very interesting, thick sound
I just bought #LogicPro, because my modest recording setup was becoming a pain in #GarageBand.
Early-twenties me would be so proud of me
Can any #GarageBand users out there confirm something for me?
If you use a regular mouse with a scroll wheel, are you able to zoom in/out on the tracks by pressing Cmd or something else? Because I'm not able to do it, which is annoying.
Works fine with pinch etc on a trackpad, but I'm using a mouse.

Hey guys, what is this?
Like I get strong garage band vibes here, especially from that bass guitar. Less than ideal mixing, imperfect (but not bad) voice control, etc, but it's actually not half bad.
Thing is, their actual images are 100% "AI" generated, their page has next to no info, etc. I don't think "AI" generated music has reached this level yet though and even if it had, surely it wouldn't be able to emulate garage band styles, right? So is this like an actual garage band or something or what is going on here? Wouldn't a garage band still have some info on their page?
I followed the link to the other page of course, but still not exactly a whole lot of info there!
@socks maybe you can help me here.

Whenever I use #Apple software the thing I'm struck by, very contrary to the reputation they seem quite undeservedly to have maintained, is the real lack of attention to detail. For example: exporting a song from #GarageBand and overwriting an existing file, first the folder selection pops up a confirmation dialogue for overwriting the file, and then after pressing Okay there's another entirely-differently styled "hey this is overwriting, you sure?" popup one has to press Okay on.
Just a million little papercuts like that, pretty unprofessional but I guess since it's just a hobbyist [aide whispers in ear] sorry wait you're saying they have more money than God?!
We’ve not seen A Star Is Born (Gaga/Cooper) yet but there are a couple of songs in that soundtrack that we like already.
Here is a cover of the Gaga song “Always Remember Us This Way” which beautiful wifey has been practicing for a few weeks.
I haven’t watched this video yet so I don’t know if it’s any good or not. I’m just saving it for later.
Apple announced an update to Logic Pro today. Logic Pro 11, to be precise.
I’ve been using GarageBand since, what… 2010? Something like that. For years now I have been thinking of upgrading to Logic Pro. The $200 price tag is basically what has kept me away. Now?
I use the crap out of the session drummer in GarageBand. I don’t think I would use the session bass player, even if it’s awesome. I said that about the drummer function when it was announced too, but I think it will stick for the bass. A keyboard player? I generally don’t write for keyboards. I like the idea of a three piece, guitar bass and drums. That’s it. If I had a keyboard player who could write for his or her artificial self though? Can I make it sound like Jon Lord? Rick Wakeman? (gasp) Keith Freakin’ Emerson???
Is it finally time to upgrade? No. When we get back from our trip to Florida a few weeks from now, will it be time?
Maybe…
Maybe.
The strings section in GarageBand is brill. Reminder that you have this for free if you have an iPhone, iPad, or Mac.

Took some time this afternoon to move my #Logic & #GarageBand libraries from internal storage to an external Thunderbolt 3 drive. Reclaimed about 65 GB of space in the process—which I desperately needed. #macOS
