~meoralis~<a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/TrainTrackTuesday?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#TrainTrackTuesday</a>: Remember the <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/abandonedRailway?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#abandonedRailway</a> track in the woods I showed you a couple of weeks ago? This photo is from the same line in a different part of <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/Biederitz?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Biederitz</a>. This 500m (0.3mi) <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/railroadBridge?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#railroadBridge</a> across the Elbe floodplain and the Ehle river has become a listed <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/bridge?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#bridge</a> and even has its own Wikipedia page (in German). It was built in 1846 and large parts of it are still original. It was closed in 1998 and is now barricaded due to deterioration, but the bridge continues to be a prominent landmark in the area. Tobias KremkauVor ein paar Tagen fuhr ich mit dem Fahrrad für eine kurze Tour von <a href="https://machteburch.social/tags/Magdeburg" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Magdeburg</a> nach <a href="https://machteburch.social/tags/Heyrothsberge" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Heyrothsberge</a> und Biederitz. Dabei kam ich an den Resten der im Jahr 1846 eröffneten und 1998 stillgelegten Flutbrücke über die <a href="https://machteburch.social/tags/Ehle" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Ehle</a> vorbei. 🛤️Es handelt sich um eine der ältesten, noch erhaltenen Blechträgerbrücken weltweit. Früher verband diese Bahnlinie – mit der ebenfalls noch existierenden Brücke über die alte Elbe und der Hubbrücke – die ostelbischen Gebiete direkt mit dem Industriestandort <a href="https://machteburch.social/tags/Buckau" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#Buckau</a>. 🏭
