Uwe WernerIn the Castle Church of Wittenberg, the neo-Gothic princely pew made of oak stands between the pulpit and the chancel. Commissioned by Emperor Wilhelm II, it was donated by Protestant German princes and the free cities of Lübeck, Hamburg, and Bremen. Designed by Friedrich Adler and executed by Wilhelm Lober, the 22 seats are adorned with coats of arms and ornate canopies.<br>
