An ein, zwei Gesangsnummern könnte ich herumkritisieren. Aber der gesamte Film ist einfach viel zu charmant, als dass ich das tun würde. Mary Astor als Mutter von fünf Kindern, nur drei Jahre nach <a href="https://mstdn.social/tags/TheMalteseFalcon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>TheMalteseFalcon</span></a>, hat mich echt überrascht. </p><p>Einfach gut geschrieben und top besetzt. Vincente Minnelli in Hochform. Kein Wunder, dass aus dieser Kombination eine Liza Minnelli hervorging.</p>
