Matthew<p>I really enjoyed this episode of the Zoe podcast, about mushrooms.</p><p>Featuring Merlin Sheldrake, writer of Entangled Life - one of my favourite books of all time, just amazing.</p><p>Here he talks more about the nutritional aspect of fungi - it's a nutrition-focused podcast - but he does get in some fascinating and incredible details about fungi, along with lots of talk about the health benefits.</p><p><a href="https://youtu.be/tKuoBKaMVJc" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="">youtu.be/tKuoBKaMVJc</span><span class="invisible"></span></a></p><p><a href="https://mas.to/tags/Fungi" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Fungi</span></a> <a href="https://mas.to/tags/Mushtodon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Mushtodon</span></a> <a href="https://mas.to/tags/MushroomMonday" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>MushroomMonday</span></a> <a href="https://mas.to/tags/MerlinSheldrake" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>MerlinSheldrake</span></a> <a href="https://mas.to/tags/ZoeScienceNutrition" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ZoeScienceNutrition</span></a> <a href="https://mas.to/tags/Science" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Science</span></a></p>
Annika Backstrom<p>I hope Fungi comes to Dublin. Looks like it's IMAX only? Much of this footage depicts aspects of fungal life that have never been captured in such high spatial and temporal resolution before.</p><p>The film will be trickling into IMAX cinemas across Europe and North America over the latter part of 2023 and into 2024, and may already be playing at a theatre near you."</p><p><a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/fungi" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>fungi</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/fungiverse" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>fungiverse</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/mosstodon" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>mosstodon</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/systemsBiology" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>systemsBiology</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/nature" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>nature</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/film" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>film</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/MerlinSheldrake" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>MerlinSheldrake</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/Bjork" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Bjork</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/WebOfLife" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>WebOfLife</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/science" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>science</span></a> <a href="https://infosec.exchange/tags/mycelium" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>mycelium</span></a></p>
Matthew<p>This fungi film looks amazing.</p><p>Presented by Merlin Sheldrake. His book Entangled Life is one of the best things I've ever read, completely blew my mind.</p><p>And with time-lapse footage from Planet Fungi. Their Youtube channel is just wonderful. Basically every video on it is worth watching</p><p>Very excited for this film. I AmAnita<p>Just read a most amazing fact. Not only can you train a <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/flatworm" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>flatworm</span></a> - if you cut off it’s head, it will grow a new head, complete with <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/brain" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>brain</span></a> *and* retain its memory. Every day’s a school day that’s for sure. Btw if you haven’t read <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/MerlinSheldrake" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>MerlinSheldrake</span></a> ‘s <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/EntangledLife" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>EntangledLife</span></a> about how important the networks made by <a href="https://mindly.social/tags/fungi" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>fungi</span></a> are I heartily recommend</p>
