I tried the alternatives, but they all failed me for one reason or another.</p><p>And in the end, it's just hard to argue with a negative line count delta.</p><p>The good news is that I've got it configured to maintain build/main and build/release branches that one can fork and contribute to without having to install all my dependencies.</p><p>I think I feel another blog post coming on.</p>

It also comes with a script called `maclog` that you can use to send log messages from the command line. Usually this can only be done from Swift or Objective-C.</p><p>Please try it out and then use the macOS `log` command or Console app to see the results, then let me know if it's ready for a stable release.</p><p>Thank you!</p>

I don't use the <code>.git</code> suffix for my remote URLs, but it could strip that off for the <code>web</code> key if present.</p>
