There are much, much better alternatives out there. </p><p>For example, of instead investing in gas and unproven SMRs, we could easily add more wind, backed by battery storage. We could do it with Canadian companies & labour. </p><p>NB Power's initiatives are harming New Brunswickers by polluting our communities, endangering and damaging delicate natural ecosystems and protected species, and wasting our tax dollars on scams like Joi Scientific, SMRs, and decades of fossil fuel lockin. </p><p>How many windfarms does NB Power operate again? Zero. </p><p>We say NO NEW FOSSIL FUEL INFRASTRUCTURE!</p><p>Sincerely,<br>Your Name</p><p>COMMENT HERE --> <a href="https://iaac-aeic.gc.ca/050/evaluations/proj/89719?culture=en-ca" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="ellipsis">iaac-aeic.gc.ca/050/evaluation</span><span class="invisible">s/proj/89719?culture=en-ca</span></a></p><p>CBC ARTICLE --><br><a href="https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/new-brunswick/big-emissions-estimate-worst-case-scenario-builder-says-1.7586651" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://www.</span><span class="ellipsis">cbc.ca/news/canada/new-brunswi</span><span class="invisible">ck/big-emissions-estimate-worst-case-scenario-builder-says-1.7586651</span></a></p>
