Official Kakistocracy Jester 🪓<p>I was thinking about how to articulate how radical <a href="https://stranger.social/tags/RightToWork" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>RightToWork</span></a> legislation is… so let’s take it to the opposite extreme.</p><p>Imagine a bunch of socialists and communists getting together and drafting “Right to Buy” legislation. Their argument is that if you go into a store, and you don’t like the price of an item, or if you simply don’t want to pay, you should have the right to just take it with no recourse from the store.</p><p>That’s how extreme Right-to-Work bills sound to a <a href="https://stranger.social/tags/union" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>union</span></a> guy. <a href="https://stranger.social/tags/labor" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>labor</span></a></p>
