photosHere's the print from yesterday toned (along with my compost bin doing it's best photo bomb) It's still in the wash so I'll scan it properly later but I'm quite happy with the tone. Toned in Harman Selenium toner, pretty sure in a 1:4 though I already had some mixed form the last time I toned and I need to look up how I mixed it. 1:4 is a bit aggressive but I quite like the look paired with Ilford's FB Classic. It's a bit cool but feels to me still fairly neutral without being overly purple or red. Sometimes I like that look. Adox MCC, when it was available, toned red as I recall, and for some photographs, that worked out well.<br><br><a class="hashtag" href="https://social.bitbybitwhatever.com/tag/cozumel" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Cozumel</a> <a class="hashtag" href="https://social.bitbybitwhatever.com/tag/darkroom" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Darkroom</a> <a class="hashtag" href="https://social.bitbybitwhatever.com/tag/fiberprint" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#FiberPrint</a> <a class="hashtag" href="https://social.bitbybitwhatever.com/tag/seleniumtoned" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#SeleniumToned</a> <a class="hashtag" href="https://social.bitbybitwhatever.com/tag/nikonosv" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#NikonosV</a> <a class="hashtag" href="https://social.bitbybitwhatever.com/tag/silvermax100" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Silvermax100</a>
photosThis print has been under a stack of books since before Christmas and I finally got around to scanning it while organizing my office (slightly :P). I gave my mom the best one as one of her Christmas gifts. It's from our Alaska trip not too far from Skagway on our trip up to the Yukon. Taken on Acros ii using my Nikon N80. I decided to print it on Ilford Art 300 paper and then toned it in Selenium at 1:4 for 3 minutes. Acros is incredibly fine grained but I thought it might look interesting to have a bit of texture that the paper provides.<br><br><a class="hashtag" href="https://social.bitbybitwhatever.com/tag/alaska" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Alaska</a> <a class="hashtag" href="https://social.bitbybitwhatever.com/tag/skagway" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Skagway</a> <a class="hashtag" href="https://social.bitbybitwhatever.com/tag/ilfordart300" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#IlfordArt300</a> <a class="hashtag" href="https://social.bitbybitwhatever.com/tag/fujiacrosii" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#FujiAcrosII</a> <a class="hashtag" href="https://social.bitbybitwhatever.com/tag/35mm" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#35mm</a> <a class="hashtag" href="https://social.bitbybitwhatever.com/tag/filmphotography" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#FilmPhotography</a> <a class="hashtag" href="https://social.bitbybitwhatever.com/tag/shootfilmbenice" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#ShootFilmBeNIce</a> <a class="hashtag" href="https://social.bitbybitwhatever.com/tag/seleniumtoned" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#SeleniumToned</a>
