wedge<p>Effective immediately and definitively, I no longer use scotch brite pads and similar in my <a href="https://woodworking.group/tags/restorations" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>restorations</span></a>, <a href="https://woodworking.group/tags/woodworking" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>woodworking</span></a>, or anything else. These products fall apart into plastic dust as they are used, going straight into the environment.</p><p>There is a global <a href="https://woodworking.group/tags/microplastics" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>microplastics</span></a> problem. And with the new study released about them accumulating in our brains, as well other organs, well…</p><p>We need to do better since corporations & governments won’t.
