Alternatively, does anybody know about a CLI client or client library for Audiobookshelf? To give you some background: I have a few Pis lying around and a DAC hat that I can hook up to my stereo. I'd like to access my music library (super easy via the Subsonic API), but it would be really rad to just put on some audiobooks or podcasts for my kids too. I don't want to spend my time on this but feel free to add support. Could be nice if the <a href="https://social.funkwhale.audio/tags/subsonic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#subsonic</a> api allowed to choose the service. Maybe we could use our own data provider and not follow their spec. I'm not sure about this.

It is an app. It just happens to use web-tech. By installing it as a PWA, I can control where it goes, give it its own icon, and more, and THINK of it as an app, not a web page.Here are two views of my own music player (a client for <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/Subsonic" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Subsonic</a>). One is a self-contained app interface. The other is...an annoying tab in my browser. Buried when I am in another tab, distracted by all the 'stuff' around it. Just...meh. If you want to keep to the tab, fine. But I find having an app be separate is more aesthetically pleasing.
