Michael Magras<p>According to this two-question quiz in the New York Times, we should most definitely have heat pumps installed, because we would see a $900 annual decrease in our utility bills. A local dealer told us it would cost $38,000 to install the heat pumps we need. It would take more than 42 years of $900/year savings to recoup that investment.
