Darryl Pogue
So I'm trying to play with Icon Composer and Xcode 26 beta, and supposedly you just drag & drop the icon file into the project navigator and Xcode will highlight where it needs to go... and I'm not seeing that happen. If I add it to the project, it just shows up as another file, doesn't seem to be treated as an icon. Is this a known issue in the Xcode 26 beta?

#xcode #apple #wwdc

How could that be?

It's some low-stakes cryptography using the swift-scrypt package. Previous versions of this app have worked fine and are used by thousands of people. I haven't made any changes to the code other than xcode's automatic upgrades when I re-opened it last month, and I can't see anything in the diff that looks significant.

So I suppose my question could be: has something changed in the last two years that I'd know about if I did this more often?

EDIT: solved it!
