I decided to get a <a href="https://social.vivaldi.net/tags/Casio" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Casio</a> 'Illuminator' chronograph (3454 W-217H) for all of $18.00. It's in army green. Simple three button navigation (light, stopwatch, settings mode) and it's mildly water resistant. It's all plastic, including the band but I hardly know I'm wearing it. Big digital numbers and date display.

RafaelI finally got around to getting an elastic strap for my G-Shock. My wrist has never fit the OEM bands which made the watch too uncomfortable to wear except when I was actually using it. Elastic bands are so much more comfortable that I've been wearing my watch all the time. The only downside is that the adapters are pretty small and I can't imagine they'll last.
