Green hues are everythingSo this year is for recovering and rest, and one thing is to take my du days off. No to do list, just things and activities that I enjoy and that are for recharging. And one thing that does the job pretty well is to search for that perfect place to have a matcha. The more miss the better. I also got myself some equipment to identify different mosses, but the only thing I identified so far is that it’s been ages since I studied them and have no idea. Apparently I bought it ages ago and now it fits perfectly for the job of easy sieving and I couldn’t be happier. EdwinekNew year, new adventures. This week I discovered matcha. Bought a tin on Friday, made an improvised cup to see whether I liked it, and, well, yes I did. So put in a quick order for a chasen whisk (you won't get a good foamy cup without it), scoop and chasen stand. This morning's cup was lovely, I'm hooked.The taste is interesting, familiar tea flavour, but with a savoury touch.And I like the little ritual of making it.
