#ForceOfNature is among my least favorite episodes of #StarTrekTNG
I usually love Trek’s allegories. And an environmental allegory is perfect for Trek.
But don’t ruin warp drive.
That would be like Star Wars inventing some kind of biological explanation for force powers 
It would seem that the various showrunners agree as this is only mentioned in one other episode (in TNG “Pegasus” Picard is authorized to exceed the warp speed limit).
