kernpanik 🐾 🕊️ ☮<p>Unfortunately I have to work with Microsoft <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/Excel" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Excel</span></a> today, and I'm already struggling with the simple task of moving columns inside a large dataset.</p><p>If I grab and move a column to another position, Excel wants to ~replace~ existing columns in that location instead of dropping the selection ~between~ the existing columns.</p><p>Is there really no way to <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/insert" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>insert</span></a> instead of <a href="https://chaos.social/tags/overwrite" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>overwrite</span></a>?</p><p>PS: Yes, I know how to use OpenOffice, LibreOffice, SPSS, Rstats and all their friends, but I MUST do this in Excel.</p>
