Dann bist Du hier genau richtig, denn im Oktober 2025 endet der Support für Windows 10. Bei unserer Linux Install Party am 19.07.2025 um 14 Uhr ganz im Zeichen “Alte Computer wieder aufwerten”, kannst Du verschiedene Linux Betriebssysteme ausprobieren und Fragen dazu stellen. Datenpunks e.V.Am 27. Mai 2025 findet unsere nächste Linux-Install-Party in Bielefeld, Mühlenstraße 5 stattAuf so gut wie jedem PC ist derzeit das Betriebssystem Microsoft Windows vorinstalliert. Der wachsende Datenhunger von Microsoft sowie das Ende des Supportzeitraumes von Windows 10 in diesem Jahr liefert aber immer mehr gute Gründe, sich nach einer Alternative umzusehen.Wir wollen in dieser Veranstaltung GNU/Linux als kostenlose Alternative zu Windows vorstellen, für dessen Betrieb schon lange keine Programmier- oder Kommandozeilenkenntnisse mehr vonnöten sind.Wir bereiten bootbare USB-Sticks vor, auf denen verschiedene Linux-Distributionen zum unverbindlichen Ausprobieren bereitstehen. Bzw. wie sichert ihr euch gegen eventuelle Ansprüche ab, sollte eine Person, der ihr eine Distro installiert habt, der Ansicht sein, ihr hättet dabei etwas falsch gemacht und Ansprüche gegen euch stellen? Kam so etwas schon mal vor?
