Andre Louis<p>Have you ever installed a musical or <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/fx" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>fx</span></a> plug-in?<br>Are you *not* a <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/ProTools" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ProTools</span></a> or <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/Sibelius" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Sibelius</span></a> user?<br>If this sounds like you, you may find anywhere from a few hundred MB to several GB of unwanted AAX plug-ins used by <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/Avid" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Avid</span></a> just hanging around on your system like a bad smell.<br>I'd check just in case.<br><a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/Mac" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Mac</span></a>: /Library/Application Support/Avid.<br><a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/Windows" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Windows</span></a>: Program Files\Common Files\Avid.<br>I found 2GB on my Mac and deleted them, but every 6 months or so I check again and due to updates from companies such as <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/NativeInstruments" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>NativeInstruments</span></a>, <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/Arturia" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Arturia</span></a>, <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/SoundToys" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>SoundToys</span></a>, <a href="https://universeodon.com/tags/Roland" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Roland</span></a> etc, they come back.<br>Very few manufacturers allow you to turn off installing certain types of plug-in, so it's worth keeping an eye on these.<br>Quick video explaining basically what I just said for Mac, with a pinned comment for windows users: <a href="https://youtu.be/181lJTD1FqY" rel="nofollow noopener" translate="no" target="_blank"><span class="invisible">https://</span><span class="">youtu.be/181lJTD1FqY</span><span class="invisible"></span></a></p>
