HIR 🌱【PINNED POST 📍】 Hi! I'm HIR, and I'm a huge OC (original character) enthusiast and artist. I have a couple of personal creative projects that I manage, and I love messing with vocalsynths from time to time. Started using the fediverse via vocalounge.cafe and mastodon.art back in 2019, but my activity was spotty over time that I dropped it in 2020. Wasn't until 2023 that I picked it up again by signing up for one of the more popular Misskey-based servers until I landed in mecha.garden later that year. Since then, I've been chugging a long quite well or so. People may know me for creating and voicing vocalsynth characters Fuwa Maria and Fuwa Mario, and they're my pride and joy. I also created PROXIMA×EXPRESS, which is my casual OC project I work on in my own spare time. Since I primarily use my Bluesky account for "professional"/networking purposes these days, I figured I should use this account for the same things I post on Bluesky (OC brainrot/yapping, art, animatics, covers, etc.) but also along with more casual posts such as photography for example. I do have a pretty low social battery these days, so I'm all cooped up on Discord for the most part. Nonno GiorgioOn February 18th, 2020 I posted first on Instagram. Two days ago I started Pixelfed and I want to introduce myself. Italian born and raised, nonno (=grandpa), married to a kind man, raising our grandchildren together. I believe that cooking at home is key to a better life and that being kind to everyone regardless of their provenience and provenance is key to a better world. Love first. Because of a hidden disability, pain and fatigue are part of my days and part of what I am. I had many surgeries and there will be more. Each day I wake up and wonder, what will I manage to do today? If I do not do something or I cancel a meeting at the last minute it is not because "I do not care" but it is because I have to dose my active time carefully and the little ones have priority. Cooking is my meditation time. I tell the little ones that cooking is magical and they named me the Emperor of the Kitchen. I enjoy seeing them learning how to make easier dishes for now, and rejoice when they ask questions about how to make a meal healthy while eating everything.
