FeiFeiNearby the large cargo port of <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/hongkong?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#hongkong</a> and between the <a href="https://pixelfed.social/discover/tags/Kowloon?src=hash" class="u-url hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#Kowloon</a> peninsular and Lantau island are two smaller islands - Tsing Yi and Ma Wan. Going to Ma Wan feels like going on a small vacation, as it is not very well connected and hosts mostly upscale residential buildings. Nonetheless, the beach front has stunning views of Tsing Yi and two bridges, the park is lush and hosts many animals, and strolling through the lanes of the old Ma Wan Village is an interesting contrast to the new compounds in the north. The bridges hold a spot in my heart and look majestic any time of day.
