I wanted to capture the transition of seasons by portraying a late summer day by the lake, just as rain clouds begin to gather. The clouds symbolize change, hinting at the arrival of fall. I chose black and white to emphasize the moodiness of the scene, allowing the textures of the clouds and water to stand out.
