Magical Moment With Pelicans by Debra Martz
I was intrigued by the line of upward-moving American White Pelicans and one lagging behind just a bit. They were flying in the morning light and the sky was awash in orange. But I thought it needed something else so I added some enhancements to the color & bokeh. American White Pelicans image captured in Oklahoma.

@DebraMartz I love seeing the pelicans in Tulsa near the new pedestrian bridge (near the Gathering Place). It’s neat to see the group take off and land in the water. Great capture!
@alexhaga918 This was taken at the Great Salt Plains State Park in northern Oklahoma. Usually last week of September and the first of October 1000s of them make a stopover during fall migration. Plus there are some that are year-round residents.
