This area is called Riverplace and is a quaint almost European spot just east of the heart of Minneapolis. The turn of the century bridge and Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church gives you a feeling that you are in some quaint little European town.

Riverplace Minneapolis Little Europe Minneapolis is filled with magical little spots that almost defy the imagination. This area is called Riverplace and is a quaint almost European spot just east of the heart of Minneapolis. The turn of the century bridge and Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church gives you a feeling that you are in some quaint little European town. This is the location of the Minneapolis stone arch bridge festival where amazing artists from the region bring their wares. I would suggest as the weather gets a little warmer go grab an adult beverage on the deck of one of the wonderful local restaurants and peer out over the Mississippi River as the sun goes down on the Minneapolis skyline. @WayneMoranPhotography Interesting. I lived just across the river there for 18 years. Never once did I feel Riverplace was a quaint little European town. Different strokes, I guess!
