Portrait format colour image showing layers of small bracket fungus on the side of a fallen tree trink. The tree is a pale, mottled greenish-grey while the multiple tiers of fungus are brown and cream-coloured. A small brown leaf has fallen into the scene and is nestled among the upper brackets of the fungus.

Portrait format colour image shows a dark brown oak leaf which has fallen onto the equally dark brown leaves of decaying bracken. The alternating leaf stems of the bracken create a lovely graphical pattern and the rich colours are so representative of autumn.

@allysseriordan Thank you Allysse, only the ground cover has started to turn autumnal in this river gorge, the trees won't be too far behind though
