#Automation day! I played around with #activepieces today and set up an automated pixelfed-to-instagram routine. And it seems to work!

Even though Active Pieces does not officially support #Pixelfed, I managed to passover data via good old #rss. The #Instagram side was a hell though (facebook developer account creation, app creation, facebook page creation… a trillion extra steps to keep you in the app as a creator).

If everything works out I can just use @pixelfed from now on.

I so can't wait to set up my own automation server with these three open source platforms I discovered this weekend, if I can replicate the things I set up over on make.com and that is one less subscription service replaced by foss. Whoop whoop.
