An Earth directed Solar Flare has just been released from the Sun and it is a doozy! I will be keeping a close eye on Space Weather to give updates but I would expect auroras Sunday night/Monday morning!

Aurora forecast for this evening is significant. Not sure it'll hit Melbourne, but points south are in with a shot.

Space Weather at NOAA forecasting action in 6-9 hours from now. Please note these forecasts can be out by as much as 18 hours, or just misfire entirely :)
