@GottaLaff I have been a Mets fan since I was nine years old. (That’s more than half a century, in case you were curious.)
My Dad was a Brooklyn Dodgers fan. Mom visited relatives in Montreal in 1946 and they took her to a Royals game. (She wasn't a baseball fan yet. That happened after she met Dad. But she was there.)
