I did consider having a #canadiano this morning but in the end went for my usual double #espresso and small glass of chilled water. The chocolate Bourbon biscuits are are a digression from the #italian theme but heh, I'm a very pro #multicultural person!

I don’t know if this is a global or local phenomenon: our local coffee shop offers a ‘Candiano’ which is espresso shots topped up with drip coffee. According to the lore, in WWII American troops in Italy found the espresso too strong and thus asked for it to be watered down with hot water, whereas the Canadian troops were like: fuck that, give me some coffee with that coffee!
