Bonus Photo of the Day 16th April 2025.

G-JMAC, British Aerospace Jetstream 4100, owned by the Speke Aerodrome heritage group, in the manufacturers in-house demonstrator livery, on display in the rear car park of the Crowne Plaza hotel, Liverpool John Lennon Airport (formerly Speke Airport), 11th March 2025.
This is probably the best preserved exhibit here, but is also the youngest exhibit.
The large car park here is actually the apron area for the original terminal building, which has now been converted into a hotel.

Side view of a white, twin propellor-engined airliner parked facing to the left on concrete. There is a thin, blue, red, and orange stripe running along the body from the nose, getting wider as it moves rearwards, until it sweeps up towards the tail, which is almost entirely blue, with the registration "G-0JMAC" in white, and a white, winged, circular logo at the top. There are dark blue "Jetstream 41" titles on the upper forward fuselage. There is a white, concrete weight on the ground under the left wing-tip, that would normally be attached by a rope to the underside of the wing. Grey concrete apron fills the bottom of the frame, , leading up to trees in the distance. Fluffy white and grey clouds fill the top of the frame, with patches pf blue peeking through.

Bonus Photo of the Day 16th March 2025.

G-ANCF, Bristol Britannia Series 308F, previously of Invicta International, looking a bit sorry for itself in the car park behind the Crowne Plaza hotel at Liverpool John Lennon airport, 11th march 2025.
This a long-term restoration project, and it is planned to eventually put it back on it's feet, in British Eagle colours.
For now, however, it isn't looking too happy.

Side view of a rather dilapidated, bare metal, 4 propellor-engined airliner (with the engines removed!) lying on blocks on the floor. The nose-wheel is slightly dropped down, and resting on another block. The metal fuselage appears to be torn around the wing root, probably where the wing was removed to transport it here. The frame around the cockpit windows appears to have been painted white, which look a bit odd with the rest of it being in a bare metal finish. Fluffy grey and white clouds fill most of the frame behind.
