"Interesting" couple of weeks..lol I'm being #lazy this afternoon and just #FeltLikeFlowers here are a couple of views from last #June for #ThrowbackThursday
This the native shrub Viburnum edule- those of you have the large Viburnum species in your area probably call one of those #HighbushCranberry and this one Lowbush.. here, though, this is the big guy and lowbush is a little Vaccinium (aka Lingonberry).

A thin woody branch extends into the image from the right, ending just left of centre. It has a number of medium sized leaves vaguely pyramidal in shape with two small side lobes and a large central one, all toothed on the edges. Leaves are medium green with hints of wine, especially on the edges and on younger stems. The last hand length of the branch has several flower clusters, one hangs below, blurred, the largest projects above the branch in a spot of sunlight with a couple of handfuls of closely held tiny white flowers with just the barest hint of pink. A number of unopened buds have definite wine pink tips. At the tip of the branch is another flower cluster to be-- all unopened buds. Background is various green and or red edged foliage, some in shade some catching a bit of sun, slightly to fully out of focus.
See previous alt, this is the same kind of plant- this is the tip of an upright reddish stem with two kind of maple like leaves, one to each side pointing up and out away from the stem, with a small flower cluster between catching the sun that has partly backlit the leaves. Background is a blur of dappled light on leaves and dark shadows.
