With the way this game has been going, you'd think the game was being played in the Coors Field.

Welp, so much for getting Sasaki his first W.
Dodgers place Freddie Freeman on 10-day IL for his ailing ankle. He'll be eligible to return on April 10.
Dodgers go on a road trip to PHI and WAS til April 9, and start a 6-game homestand on April 11.
I suspect this IL stint is Dodgers' way of telling Freddie, "No, you're not playing on this road trip no matter how much you beg. Stay home and rest, PLEASE."

Seeing Orel on the field just before the game started tonight reminded me of an opening day many years ago. Vinny was on the field for some reason during the opening day activities. Anyhow the game started and I thought there was something wrong with the feed as there was no play-by-play. I think it was during the second batter Vinny came on and apologized that he didn't move as quickly as he used to and that it's a long way from the field to his microphone. #ITFDB #Dodgers #MLB
Call me old-fashioned but I really don't like this gold accented uniforms, hopefully it's just an opening day thing. #ITFDB #Dodger #Tigers #OpeningDay
My Dodgers offseason take:
- Everybody expects Roki Sasaki to sign with Dodgers. And so do I. On top of being a championship team and home to both Ohtani and Yamamoto, Dodgers have the best player development program in the world, and a proven track record of bringing the best out of pitchers. Sasaki would be a fool to choose any other team.
HOWEVER,
(1/4)

I tell myself that it's ok Dodgers are losing now b/c:
1. Dodger bats can flip a 2-run deficit quickly,
2. Even with a loss, Dodgers would still be up 3-1,
3. No team has ever come back from a 0-3 WS deficit,
and
4. Yankees are using all their high-leverage bp arms, while Dodgers are (so far) preserving theirs.
My stomach is not comforted though.
There's fan interference,
and there's FAN INTERFERENCE.
Seriously, lolwtf
I would love to see Chris Taylor lay down a bunt, hopefully for a bunt single but at least for a sac.
And then Ohtani would hit a double.
Then Mookie would hit a single.
Then Teoscar would hit a bomb.
Let's do this, Dodgers!!!
I think I just heard an unhappy Mets fan yell, "It's 8-nothing! Wake up!!!" over the broadcast feed.
He said something prior to that too, but I didn't quite catch it. Wouldn't be surprised if it was NSFW utterances.
Runners-on-base Ohtani coming up!!!
How does he knock that out of the park??? With that pitch location, I thought it was gonna be a pop-up.
The man is ridiculous.
