John Fetterman appears to have developed Major Neurocognitive Disorder as a result of his stroke. My heart goes out to his wife and kids. Something similar happened to my own father and for a long while the man who raised me vanished. While my dad made a full recovery I sincerely doubt that Fetterman will ever recover. The best way to understand the U.S. right now is as a parliamentary system where the Democrats have joined a coalition government to vote in favor of everything the Republicans want without demanding any concessions for their own constituents.
