I just finished my first version of #tootsnoop - a #Mastodon #statistics tool:

Its text output format is #orgdown, the syntax of #orgmode. Perfect for #Emacs users and easy to read for the rest of us.

Note that you give the service a read access to your account. I don't mind since I consider everything I write here public, but you might.

Y'all post a lot cause MastoMetrics database is 20GB right now. I'm trying to move/migrate it to a cheaper hosting but at this rate that takes ages

Just 2.6k users amounts to:
- 2.8 million posts
- 5.3 million data points
- 6.9 million like/boosts/replies

OK, for the third day in a row now, @heiseonline gained way more follwers on #Mastodon than on any other day in two months, I think. Maybe it's not a fluke? It does feel more crowded since the weekend, doesn't it? Would be about time, I'd say. Not that it was quiet before.
