Nationalised rails, nationalised water and a national green energy company would help lower inflation by cutting a fat profit layer out of essentials.

I don't think you can nationalise without taking on the debt (eg payments to suppliers and negative operating costs).
The point of incorporation is that the owners limit their losses to their ownership stake.
That said, I believe we should #NationaliseThamesWaterNow before they drain any more cash in dividents and bonuses.
