@drlucyrogers #skyingHour A2 I lived in the NW of England when Concorde was doing test flights in the area, saw it come over relatively low when I was about 6. Clearly recognisable outline, so maybe a few thousand feet?

Leicester Airshow was great. Before it got too busy, they didn't restrict parking around the airfield, so for a couple of years we took a picnic and saw all the flying (which is the interesting stuff) for free.

There was always someone along the verge with a radio, so the whisper would run along the road that the Tornado was on the way, or the Red Arrows. #SkyingHour

@drlucyrogers I can’t argue with the ISS. I’ll add that when they decommissioned the shuttle there was one orbit where you could see both. That was cool!

Otherwise it’s probably the Vulcan bomber at Leicester Airshow when I was a kid. Low pass, right overhead. Awesome! #SkyingHour
