I went from alto with hint of soprano in the mix if I really tried to apparently being able to sing "Hoist the colors" from Pirates of the Caribbean so that is how my testosterone taking is going.

I cannot, however, sing high parts at all because my voice breaks down. :P It feels weird to go from "Oh I just know how to sing ever since I was kid to - how the fuck do voice actually work??".

Just had my annual visit to my endocrinologist. It's not good. Due to my testosterone my blood is too thick still which can lead to clots. Everything else to do with my levels are perfect. He suggested drinking more water might fix it until I told him that I drink 3L a day already. Then he asked if I'm eligible to donate blood every three months, I am not since I'm in a male male relationship. So the third option is to apply testogel to my shoulders every day. This is problematic for me because I am hopeless with introducing new routines to my carefully balanced schedule. Le sigh. I'm a bit devastated. I could go to a clinic that will take blood for $200, but I cannot afford that. So testogel it is. 😭

I am not trying to scare anyone, I just want you to prepare to stock your fridge with healthy, easy access snacks, TONS of protein, and filling foods!

I failed to do this before my first injection yesterday, even though each gel increase made me feel like I had never seen food in my life (for like 1-2 months).

Now I am so hungry all sense has left my brain.

This is one of the reasons the side effects say "may cause weight gain" - other is muscle growth!

R: was that you?
Me: yep
R: that was good!
Me: that was an F# 6 and a D6. Nice to know they’re still in there. Though now they’re whistle tones and I used to sing them full voice. Which NOBODY NEEDS

thanks #testosterone for giving me a speaking voice that many now call pleasant and calming. I haven’t been compared to a cartoon mouse in years 🥰

Any #science #endocrinology #doctor types or knowledgeable patients out there?

Have some questions before I spend money I don’t have re #DHEA & #pregnenolone.:

I’m trying to find a good compounding chemist in #Melbourne #Ausralia to compound DHEA (it’s illegal in Aus to buy off the shelf, need compounding prescription & permit- got both).

BUT! I’m getting confused by the chemists. Some say I must get a DHEA troche or a capsule will convert straight to #estrogen or #testosterone, no chance to tap DHEA receptors (unsure if they exist). I’ve also read it modulated other receptors before being metabolised.Wouldn’t I be better off w a cream in that case? Other compounders say there’s no difference. BS?

I thought #pregnenolone
might help more. It’s the ‘mother hormone’, right?
Since I caught #COVID19 I’m mostly producing low hormones but it varies. Cortisol normalised, still on thyroid meds, oestrogen shot up, no DHEA or testosterone…plus much more going on.

Can anyone help? I’ve been through multiple doctors, asked pharmacist and they all contradict themselves and each other or don’t know what either home does.

Don’t ever get #ChronicIllness

You’ll up relying on people who don’t know how medicine works. Very few knowledgeable people.
