These shots aren't epic, but they are bucket list items for me: aurora photos taken near my home. I missed out on the amazing show last May, so was very excited when it looked like we might get a good storm tonight. It was freezing up at Hargraves Lookout near Blackheath. My hands were so cold that I couldn't focus the lens reliably. Nonetheless, I will treasure these amazing photos for myself.
