_The Evening Post_, 1 Feb 1924:
                     THE FLYING COURSE
                    BOMBING FORMATION
  (BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.)
                               CHRISTCHURCH, This Day.
A squadron of six #aeroplanes took an hour’s cruise over #Christchurch and the suburbs to-day, in perfect weather, covering seventy miles. Five Avros flew in “V” bombing formation, led by Captain P. Musgrove, while a Bristol fighter, flown by Captain M. C. M‘Gregor, M.C., D.F.C., provided an escort, and did occasional stunts en route. The flight was the first of the kind in New Zealand.

It's said that you can't judge a book by its cover. And that is broadly true.

It's called Dragons vs Biplanes, so I needed something to it. It's totally free, no obligation, but if you like that, you'll probably like some of my other little ideas.

(I didn't have to work very hard to make biplanes happen. Vehicles are easy in Level Up.)

Santa Claus arrives in a biplane!

This newspaper clipping shows the American aviator Cecil Peoli landing his Baldwin biplane in Montreal’s Fletcher’s Field in 1913.
Tragically, Peoli had learned to fly only one year earlier but died in an aviation accident only 2 years after his Montreal landing .

Source: Newspaper clipping (Daily Star, Dec.9th, 1913) held at BANQ Archives.
