Yesterday I got to capture the morning with Pittsburgh’s first snowfall of Winter 2022! Actually… I woke up to get the sunrise, but it was a bit of a bust. Im happy with the Consolation prize was the first snowfall that stuck.

An off-center view of the Pittsburgh Skyline and Ohio River on a cold and cloudy winter morning just as the sun rises. However most of the color is lost due to a very cloudy sky, but a sense of calm fills the image as the first snowfall blankets the rooftops and fields. The image is warmed by the color of the yellow bridges and warm street lights that line the sides of the Ohio river.
