A Reticulated Swamp Crab (Parathelphusa reticulata) spotted at Upper Seletar Reservoir Park, Singapore on 2 Dec 2023, next to the Nee Soon Swamp Forest. It was busy feeding, letting me get shots and also a video (see following post).

This swamp crab is endemic to Singapore and seldom seen. It is usually only found in that swamp forest.

A fresh water crab feeding in clear waters. It has a light brown shell and legs with a dark brown mottled pattern. The upper part of its left claw is dark brown.
