It's a constant rush to make art! How can you keep up with it when you feel empty on creativity?

Perspective & composition (the height axis).:
A few times i wanted certain composition effects such as "people looming over you" and got confused
Answers : there are basically 3 variables and two independent variables, two things to choose
- relative height of object to (height of vanishing point = height of viewer)
- relative height of frame, just include more "sky" or "ground" in the composition

Dr. Julius Csotonyi is a Vancouver-based scientific illustrator and natural history fine artist. He has a scientific background in ecology (MSc) and microbiology (PhD) which has taken him to study sensitive ecosystems, from sand dunes in the Rocky Mountain parks to hydrothermal vents at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean.

These experiences have fuelled a strong resolve to work toward preserving the earth’s biota. Painting biological subjects is one means that he uses to both enhance public awareness of biological diversity and to motivate concern for its welfare.

He paints murals and panels that have appeared in numerous museums (e.g. the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History), press release images for scientific publications, books, stamp sets (e.g. the 2018 “Sharks of Canada” set for Canada Post), and coins for the Royal Canadian Mint. Trying out my new whssmith coloured pencils by drawing the same kind of a picture of a tree and long grass that I have drawn since I was a young child. I may now know fancy #learntodraw words like hatch, cross hatch, value, contour line or perspective but I still given paper pencil and no references draw at heart like a 7 year old. #mastoart

One of the hardest things for me to draw as I #learntodraw are eyes: main problems 1.eyes positioned too high, 2. Eyes different shapes and sizes 3. Eyes asymmetrical/lopsided. Problem 1 should be easier to fix than 2 and 3 mastoart
