Performance interessiert da auch nicht wirklich, sondern er, ob es Funktioniert. Das wär ein qualitativsmerkmal mit Reichweite.

Rennt wohl mit GE-Proton10-4 problemlos, also nicht Steam out of the box aber mit einer Alternativen GE-Proton Version, die man dann in der Strem Kompatibilitätsoptionen auswählt kann.

I finally got my #Ubuntu desktop upgraded! I went from a first generation Intel Core i3 with 16 GB of RAM, to a fancy new motherboard and an 8-core AMD Ryzen 7 Pro 1700 with 64 GB of RAM.

I also replaced my measly Nvidia video card with 2 GB of RAM to a pretty decent GeForce GTX1650 with 6 GB of RAM.

@Viss I can FINALLY play Half-Life 2 at native resolution on my big monitor! :blobbounce:

My @EndeavourOS box has been bumped up to 64GB RAM and is now a proper gaming and video/audio editing & rendering box. I'm loving the fact that everything can be done with excellent software which I don't have to pay for. But boy the whole pulseaudio/pipewire/alsa thing has chewed up more cycles than I have EVER spent on audio configuration. It's working now, but I'm left with the sense that it will break if I look at it sideways.... #linux #opensource #linux_gaming

I've been playing this game as much as I possibly can, and my gosh, is it spectacular. It's really freaking cool to be able to play in between both my Gaming PC and Steam Deck. What a time to be alive for gaming! If you've been wanting to play Final Fantasy 7 Remake, I highly recommend it! I can't wait to dig into Rebirth after this!

Stargate: Timekeepers is so much fun!

One minute I'm screaming at my computer because everything went terribly wrong, the next I'm overjoyed, because for once it didn't!

I'm only on the third mission, but there's a neat story being told and I love it so far!

Ich möchte schon lange auf Linux umsteigen, aber es gibt ein großes Problem, dass das verhindert. Mein Hobby PC Gaming.

Gibt es da mittlerweile irgendeine Lösung? Also, dass Linux mit grafiklastigen Sachen besser zurecht kommt und man möglichst viele Spiele auch da zum Laufen kriegt?

Ich weiß, dass auf Steam mittlerweile sehr viele Spiele auch Linux-fähig sind, aber sonst?
